What's On
Once again, the Castle Combe Cycling Festival and Severn Bridge Sportive 2013 really does have something for everyone!
Castle Combe Cycling Festival... fun for all the family!
Suitable for visitors aged 1 to 101 years, the Castle Combe Cycling Festival really does offer fun for all the family! Full details can be found on the Cycling Festival page but for tasters... check out the Toddlebike Try Outs and the Strider Adventure Zone for some wheely good fun!! Suitable for kids aged 18+ months (Toddlebikes) plus 2yrs+ (Strider Adventure Zone).
For older kids, Wacky Cycles will back for 2013 with their crazy bikes or how about taking part in the Stunt Participation Area in conjunction with the Savage Skills Stunt Display Team?
Matti Hemmings will be performing his BMX Flatland Displays throughout the day (basically breakdancing on a bike!) whilst Savage Skills will be bringing their aerial stunt display team for some awe inspiring stunts and tricks.
Cycling Projects will be back with their Wheels for All specially adapted bikes, British Cycling will be bringing along their 'Go Ride' agility courses whilst Wiltshire Council are attending with their Road Safety Team and so much more!
The 1.85 mile historic race circuit proved to be a real highlight of the 2012 event and will be open once again in 2013 for the Circuit Lap Challenge... go on, it's only 1.85 miles long! We even saw a kid take part on a balance bike in 2012... now that's some endurance!
